BGSU vs Minnesota Recap

Image
Biggest win in the past 6 years! Coach Loeffler, the staff, and the players just pulled off the biggest upset in 8 years of college football. 30.5 point underdogs on the road at Minnesota, on their homecoming, the Bowling Green Falcons just got a legacy win. Loeffler said he will get each player a game ball to remember the day it was an unreal game. Bowling Green has been a bottom 10 team in the country for the past 5 years, an upset a Big 10 team that has a much, MUCH better roster on paper. That's why we play the game folks.  1st Quarter The 1st quarter started out great for the defense, and poor but also expected for the offense. The offense did a lot of nothing, with the offensive line getting pushed around by Minnesota's fantastic defensive line. McDonald also threw a pick that allowed Minnesota to start with the football around the 25 yard line. Brock Horne had a huge sack early on that set the tone for the game.  2nd Quarter In the 2nd quarter, the Falcon offense capital

Heartbreaking, but Promising Listen, it would have been great to win this game. No doubt about that. However, the Falcons were 14.5 point underdogs and I even projected BG to loss this game without a doubt. Compared to previous years, losing a close game is a huge step in the rights direction but the youth of this roster showed as the Falcs could not close out this game.  @ToledoBlade 1st Quarter The 1st quarter started out about as good as it can for the Falcons. The offense looked shaky and could not really find much success. However, former walk-on Patrick Day blocked a punt for a safety for BG to go up 2-0. Later in the 1st quarter, Darren Anders got a clutch pick-6 and after missing the PAT BG was up 8-0. Neither team had any success on offense and the two defense played a great first quarter. 2nd Quarter In the 2nd quarter, the Falcon offense continued to struggle. BG cannot run the ball with this young offensive line and it really hindered the offense in the 1st half. Both defen

BGSU vs Tennessee Week 1 Preview

I am not expecting a lot here. There really is not much of a preview to be honest. We are the 3rd youngest team in the country going against a team in the SEC that is no slouch. Josh Heupel knows this may be one of only a couple games on their plate that the offense can really pop. I am expecting this to be a blowout and I would not be upset by it at all.  Tennessee is under investigating by the NCAA that could lead to some nasty sanctions. Josh Heupel is the man tasked to carry this team threw the storm due in part to his creative offense. Keep in mind that Bowling Green last year lost to Akron by more than 30 last season, and this is an SEC team. They have a massive size and talent advantage that will allow them to practice their offensive schemes and fine tune their work. Joe Milton is the Vols starter and he should be able to stretch the field against our young defense. Scott Loeffler really needs more time, around 2023 to field a competitive team. Do not be upset if we lose by 50,
